🎨✨ Today, our art class had the incredible opportunity to visit the Visual Art Center in Sioux Falls for our annual Art Field Trip 2025! 🌟
🎉 Congratulations to the Gregory County FFA chapter and officer team for receiving the National Chapter Award once again this year! 🙌 The officers worked tirelessly to complete the application, and their hard work has paid off. This marks the second year the chapter has received the National Chapter Award, and the officer team deserves a huge round of applause for knocking it out of the park! 🏆
The chapter will be recognized at the State Convention on Saturday, April 5th, where the final placement will be revealed. Stay tuned for more updates! 👏👏

Preschool students had fun playing with rhythm sticks and buckets drums during music class on Thursday.
Did you know...Playing musical instruments, like bucket drums, helps children develop fine motor skills as they learn to manipulate the instruments. It also improves their hand-eye coordination, especially when playing instruments that require both hands.

The Burke School District has an opening for a full-time assistant cook for the 2025-2026 school year. This position is for 35 hours per week, and the starting wage is $17.14. This will be a 9-month position and will include insurance and retirement benefits. The start date will be the week of August 11th.
