Our kindergarteners enjoyed a one-of-a-kind learning adventure this week when they visited the 6th-grade band to witness the fascinating art of foley in action!
Guided by their teacher, Mrs. Stephens, the 6th graders have been exploring how foley artists bring movies, TV shows, and other media to life by creating sound effects using everyday objects and instruments. The 6th graders showcased their creativity, transforming simple tools into immersive soundscapes that captivated their young audience.
The Kindergarteners watched in awe as their older peers demonstrated how sound can enhance storytelling. From banging drums to mimicking footsteps, every sound effect sparked curiosity and wonder.
