September/October Scholarships
Kids Chance Scholarship Due: September 16th
Must be between the ages of 16 – 25 years old
Must (a) be a graduating high school student in good standing, (b) currently possess a high school diploma or GED, or (c) be currently enrolled and in good standing at a post-secondary institution or trade school.
Dependent of a parent who suffered either an on the job fatality or injuries that have had a significant adverse effect on family income.
Proceeds can only be used for tuition, fees or room and board at a vocational/technical school, junior college, undergraduate or graduate programs. Proceeds will be paid directly to the institution.
Prior to award of the scholarship, applicant must demonstrate that they meet the minimum criteria for acceptance to the institution to which they have applied. This can be accomplished by either submitting the formal acceptance letter from the institution, or providing documentation (transcripts, tests scores) meeting the institution’s minimum admission criteria.
Scholarship awards are contingent on availability of funds and may be renewed

Griswold Home care Scholarship Due: September 30th
Griswold Home Care is a mission-driven home care services company headquartered just outside of Philadelphia that celebrates, educates, and advocates the choice to remain independent at home. Griswold Home Care was founded by Jean Griswold, wife of a Presbyterian Minister, in 1982 after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and seeing the need for quality care in her community. Jean’s mission of affordable care for all continues to spread today. In honor of Jean’s vision, Griswold Home Care offers a $1,000 bi-annual scholarship to a qualified student pursuing a bachelor’s, associate’s, graduate, or professional degree at an accredited college or university. Coca-Cola Scholarship Due: September30th
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 36th class in 2024, the Foundation has provided over 6,900 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $84 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship.
Applicants must be:
Current high school/home-schooled students attending a school in one of the 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, or select DoD schools who will graduate high school during the 2020-2021 academic school year
S. Citizens (not a Temporary Resident), U.S. Nationals, U.S. Permanent Residents, Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, or Humanitarian Parolees - based on the guidelines utilized by U.S. Department of Education for Federal Financial Aid eligibility
Planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution
Scholarship Information and Application
AES Engineering Scholarship Due: October 8th
Our belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of the essays that are submitted.
Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility.
You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.
Heisman High School Scholarship Due: October 17th
Students whose senior year of high school is the 2023-2024 academic year, graduating with the class of 2024
Students who have at least a weighted “B” grade average (3.0 GPA) during grades 9, 10, and 11.
Students who have participated in volunteer service, community involvement or leadership within his/her school or community.
